We are moving on to the next set of tasks in our Dining Room reno, but first had to make the new plaster moldings meet up in the corner…
Our son was of course eager to help. The process was the same as the long runs, building the profile up over several passes, except the corners were mostly formed freehand with a spackle knife.
We started by first installing a few protruding screws for the plaster to hold on to.
Then the first pass of the plaster…
And finally a 4th pass…. The corners are now pretty much complete.
Everything just needs a good sanding and miscellaneous touch ups.
