A surprise 100 yr old cursive message (in lead pencil) awaited us behind just one of the dozens of beadboard panels we removed from the bathroom walls:

Chopping down big demo pieces with the saw:

We cleaned everything out on all walls back to the studs… Check out the new wiring, old wiring, old communication cables… Lead pipe for water, gas lines… What a mess but kinda cool:

Our new pex… Would have been much easier to run if this wall was open when we ran it in the winter! Oh well, looks like we did a good blind job if it anyway.

Just don’t let our electricians know we opened up all these walls!
