What we’ve done so far:
We completely gutted our only bathroom. Luckily, we added a (new) powder room on the first floor and (temporary) shower room in the basement first, because it was a loooong process. We’re DONE and so very excited. RIP basement shower.
Before:
First thoughts: do nothing. Second thought: maybe get a new vanity? Third thoughts (after discovering plumbing was shot): replumb and reorganize the layout, reuse the clawfoot, new vanity. New tile floor.

Final thoughts- ditch the clawfoot for a modern soaker tub, retile the whole bathroom with new & salvaged vintage tile, new wood paneling/ ceiling, new window, stone, tile, take 8+ months to get it perfect:
After:
Bliss. We’ll have to upload some photos soon. Until then, check out these posts:

What we still plan to do:
Install door hardware (door is hung though) & install the permanent shower curtain (luckily the temp is working just fine)
