Tonight we did a bunch of random stuff but one important thing was test fitting the repurposed door/ mechanical soffit access panel. It fits perfectly, so now we’ll paint and prep for hinges:

We also looked at the sizes of the shades in proportion to the room for the three pendant fixtures on our light fixture short-list.

We think we found a winner, so we’ll be ordering it ASAP. Spoiler alert: it’s NOT from ikea…. Hmmm.
