The first step of carpet removal is rolling the grossness up and getting it into a bag. The padding is flexible so I bagged it separately.

The room isn’t huge so that only took about 10 minutes. What made it carpet power hour was removing those dang nailers at all the edges:

Once in a while I got lucky and removed a piece larger than 6″ but for the most part it was nail to nail:

My secret weapons: a multi-tool scraper, a good ol hammer, and 45 minutes of my life. Good news is, carpet is GONE!
