So as its starting to get cold, we need to finish the baseboard in our living room so we can reinstall the radiator under the window. We can then refill the 1st floor zone and have heat again!

Here we installed wood blocking to the brick so there is something to nail into and to bring the base far enough forward. I also have been spackling to patch the hole where we had to do some masonry work.

And there is the base installed! I still need to install the cap and shoe mold.

The base is white oak to match what was orginally in the house. It’s going to look great stained & lacquered!
