The hardwired SD in the orange bedroom ceiling was a casualty of the closet project… You can see the black rectangular hole in the pic below- it was way too close to the wall and not aligned with anything anymore (which if you know us at all, you know we couldn’t stand).

Rob managed to finagle enough wire to a new location nearby, and with the help of some previously loose floor boards on the third floor, roughed in a new SD location:

Old location is patched and new location centered & equal-equal. Sweet:
