Once the prepping was done and the shade- loving plants purchased, it was time to come up with a planting plan.

Our gardening style is part planning and part intuition, so we start with choosing plants we know will work in the shade, guesstimate how many we’ll need, then lay them out in containers until we’re happy with the look.

Not very scientific but it works!
