Our garden is great in the spring, when the “onion grass” with white flowers comes up on it’s own. Then it starts dying off in mid/ late may, it’s time to start thinking about our annuals.
There’s a few hostas that come back every year, some lilies that grow like crazy but haven’t bloomed yet:
Some existing ground cover- ivy by the tree and some creeping vine to the right. We also planted some liriope at the base of the tree last year which has made a comeback.
After scooping all the berries, dried up onion grass, and last years mulch, and adding two new stepping stone pavers, we’re officially ready to get our plant on.
