Getting into the bathroom again after approximately 48 hours mortar dry time was amazing- for once we’re seeing the big picture instead of lots of orange!

Floooor! Honestly, I’ve had a love-hate relationship with the floor tile lately, but now that it’s installed I can safely say I love it. I think leaving the brown out of the mix was a big part of that. And the final pattern makes me super happy:

See how the floor colors tie in with the vintage tile… Instead of Victorian Modern, I think we should call it Victorian Spa:
