Saturday, the newly rebuilt South Street bridge opened after two years.  It’s on the north end of our neighborhood and connects our side of the river to West Philly (Drexel, Penn) and has ramps onto the Expressway going north and south (for visiting family, this is a little more scenic than exiting at Grey’s Ferry).

The view of the city is fantastic:

And of course our favorite- Bike Lanes!! Gotta love how Philly is feeling the bike lane love lately. I wish there were bike specific lights at the on ramp light- it’s all a bit confusing with the crossover traffic.
