With only about 9 hours of work we made some major progress on our little deck:

We added some bracing to hold an eating/ drink setting down surface:

And crafted flower boxes (lined with metal gutter and draining to our real gutters):

We also are dealing with a gap at the end of the existing railing which is a tad unsafe, by adding another post:

And here is the start of something even more exciting… Has to do with lighting and shade…
