It looks so cute and innocent here…

But pulling the pex thru the floor boards to the third floor south radiator is a pain. At least this is the furthest run in the house. And at least we’ll be able to take all the exposed pipes out of the orange bedroom and dining room when done which will free up a lot of space.

But it’s taken us hours and three people to get it from Point A to Point B and we’re not even done.

This old house has had so many different types of heating systems over the years- we are cutting out radiator pipes and running plastic pex thru abandoned ducts that were used before the radiators! Who knows what the owners in a hundred years will be doing and thinking about our pex!
