What we’ve done already:

So much.  We reopened an abandoned window in the closet, removed the existing closet-in-closet, removed a giant threshold into the closet and built an amazing his-hers walk-in wardrobe system that we just adore (ikea).  Similar to the rest of the house, we updated the electric (quad outlets by the night stands, anyone?), added a whole house music/ intercom system, new lighting including dimmable remote controled accent downlights, a fan, repainted the radiators, painted the room.  What more do you want?

What we plan to do:

New sideboards, cushions for our built-in bench, new curtain system (we’re using some rich brown velvety curtains from our old place but want sheers too).  I’m sure there’s more “minor” long-term items like adjust door hardware and painting the doors.
