Besides sanding and filling with putty, there’s always the fun task of removing the old hardware:

I also gathered together all the salvaged trim we’ll need to sand and fill to install in the bedroom around the doors and window.

Lots to do, so I set up a work space in the living room on saw horses (fact: there are three sets of horses in use our house right now)…

Just like the doors, some pieces need more work than others. There’s also a ton of nails to remove… Something to look forward to!
