It’s November already(?!), and despite the fact the air’s getting chilly, with a high of just 52 today, we’re still hanging onto Fall in the garden. The trees are starting to turn and drop some leaves:

Our annuals are starting to fade a bit, as are the hostas, but there’s still a few blooms and the fern looks fabulous. The November garden:

This is a great time to mention – we found out a few weeks ago that our block of Madison Square won a prize in the 2011 SOSNA Garden Competition: cash-money, to help improve the garden even more next year! Sweet.
