We’re about to paint our newly created closets, which set off such a brainstorming/ digging-thru-paint-cans session this weekend that I wanted to create what I am fancily calling our “Visual Finish Schedule”. It only took an hour to drag everything into photoshop but I now have a much better understanding of what the final product will feel like (at least without furniture, art, rugs, linens and other stuff in the mix).
It’s roughly laid out based on our floor plans but it’s also meant to have some flow; check this for reference.
From top to bottom: Third floor, Second floor, First floor
I think we’re on our way to a very calm but warm & cheery palette. Some of our colors are BM’s Jamestown Blue, White Rain, Salisbury, Golden Honey, August Morning, and our trim & wainscoting is Behr Pot of Cream. The biggest question right now (hence the big “?”) is the living room which we originally had as a very rich cork color. Regardless of that, though, we’re painting the closets Benjamin Moore Lighthouse (well, color matched to Behr), so let’s get to it!
