If you’ve been in Center City lately, you may have noticed two temporary bike parking corrals sponsored by the Mayor’s Office and the Bicycle Coalition for Parking Day. This one on Walnut & Sydenham (btw 15 & 16th) is shaped like a car:

Philly is really stepping up their bike- love lately; using a car parking spot for bike parking is a HUGE move and one that we fully endorse. Bikes only!

The Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition is raising $ to make the racks permanent- a ‘Letter To The Mayor’s Office Of Transportation’ that Kelly wrote was posted on their blog in hopes of raising more dollars. Check it out & see how you can help the cause:
