Remember in 2009 when Philadelphia Water Department offered FREE rain barrels? Here’s ours to refresh your memory. Well they are back at it, but this time… they install it for you! Can’t beat that. Workshops are coming up but you have to sign up to get on “the list”.

Free is great, but what do you use a rain barrel for, anyway? We use ours for washing things down in the back alley, mixing mortar, you know, very normal. OR you could water your plants with the collected water! Even just waiting until the rain is long gone and then letting it flow saves the combined system a bit of stress.
