Tonight Rob applied a waterproof tape to the seams and edges of the orange Schluter Ditra underlayment, to prepare for the upcoming floor tile installation (!):

This tape is often used inside a shower. It isn’t really “necessary” for our installation but now if for any reason a large amount if water ends up on the floor… It won’t end up in our kitchen ceiling.

Orange Ditra tape is mudded down on the seams & at the edge of the room.
