We’ve been blissfully ignoring the bathroom part of this here reno work. It’s the elephant in the room always hanging over our heads, mainly because we’re torn over the darn tub! Here’s what a bathtub should be- luxe, freestanding, with a great view and seperate shower. Unfortunately we don’t live in a glass summerhouse alongside a lake in Sweden:

We have a big old clawfoot tub, which needs to double as a shower and would be surrounded by walls on three sides. And a shower curtain on all sides:

Glamorous vintage bathing has it’s place, and would totally ‘work’ in our modern-victorian eclectic bathroom/ home. But daily showers in this thing?We’re worried we’ll tire of the hassle within a few weeks.
