From Day One, we knew it would be a lot of work to renovate the kitchen… But who could have guessed just HOW much work…

Ripping down layers of plaster to gain ceiling height, and then realizing we had some structural issues due to plumbing issues and needed to sister some joists:

Removing some walls, rebuilding lintels, reopening an old window, and taking the walls back to the brick:

New wiring, new ducts, new plumbing, new framing, new walls…

New windows, and Lots of insulation:

It’s hard to believe we’re now cooking in here!
