We opened up the plywood covered window in the kitchen to replace the rotten wood lintel with a stainless steel angle and new wood lintel. We won’t be putting the windows in for month or so but it was cool to get a glimpse of what it will be like with all that extra light coming in!!! (both of these windows are in our kitchen)

You guys are very fortunate to have a “family” carpenter to get you through some of your structural “finds.” job description…..Architect, plumber, carpenter, electrician, structural engineer, etc, etc etc….yes the list goes on and on and on and on.
