Oh my. The 2″ thick tongue and groove plank floor in our bathroom was a royal pain in the $@?!:$@&&”!! to get out. Probably the most aggravating thing so far- this thing was screwed down like no other and once you get down to the last couple of boards and you only have deteriorated joists to stand on and you’re trying to crowbar it up you may have a few choice thoughts about remodeling and perhaps putting it back on the market with no bathroom floor :). but really, my dad and I did our best with it and now you can obviously see it is 95% gone and our “kitchen” has a cathedral ceiling. This is KEY to the major structural item that remains- sistering new joists to the deteriorating ones in the kitchen ceiling. Plus now we can put a tile floor in the bathroom.
