It’s back! It used to swing into the kitchen (actually it was stuck in place but the intent was for it to swing in). Although we freed it up from the permanent old porch light wiring which made it inoperable, the new drywall on the right hand side would still prevent it from swinging. So we temporarily took it out a few months ago- with a plan to reverse the swing. Here’s the lovely plywood covered window opening:

That future swing-reversing day was today. Replaced the jambs:

I cleaned and sanded the window the other day, so we could recut the slope on the bottom of window, (scary -old fritted glass on table saw):

A little planing and some new hinge installing and we had this:

And done:

Same door, same window above. But it swings out!
