The beadboard in the back was salvaged from the old dining room closet. The top shelf is shallower to accomodate some unavoidable plumbing.
This was such a feat, from carving out the space, then protecting it from the greedy space grabbers (plumbing, duct work, electrical etc) then building it… I cannot wait to paint it and put some books in!
