Today I painted sample mock ups of all our paint choices for the first floor… Blue for the Kitchen and stair/hall, the grey brown for the Living Room, greens for the dining room… The sage green (middle under window) is probably “the one”… Hey, one out of four isn’t bad!

And something for the half bath… The same green or blue most likely…

We also like the blue, but we’re getting a lighter version to compare. Also we picked three more living room colors to get samples of, ranging from a sunny golden tan to a medium warm grey to a pale gold. I think that will be the hardest to finalize due to the existing tile at the fireplace, the exg wood finishes and the travertine we’re probably using on the credenza (I’ll post on that change soon). Finding the perfect color is tricky business. Good thing paint sample jars are cheap!
