Replacing the existing bathroom radiator with one specifically designed to hold and warm towels was one of our first ideas for the bathroom. All we had to do was buy a new radiator and swap out the old one. EASY. This was of course waaaay before we found we needed to remove the whole floor for structural stabilization and redo all the existing bathroom plumbing. Which then led to the decision to do radiant floor heating in the bathroom (since we were doing it in the kitchen) and that should eliminate the need for a radiator altogether. Well we’re still trying to get that to work efficiently at heating the whole room and we’re back to considering some supplemental above floor radiator heat.

We’re still up in the air about whether it’s a necessity or just a cool feature. But how nice to have a double duty towel rack that warms up your towel!
