The granite guys were snowed out Wednesday but are supposed to be coming tomorrow morning to measure for our counters in the kitchen, half bath, credenza and bathroom. So tonight we spent some time mocking things up to get a feel for the final locations of all the things they will need to cut holes in the stone.
Bathroom:
The vessel sinks will sit partially into the vanity; blue tape is outlining the mirrors; scratched wood top will be replaced with marble. We decided to put the cross handled hot/cold faucet controls in the counter just like they look here:
The kitchen:
Our dual basin stainless sink, the techy pull out faucet and a temporary stand in for the instant hot/cold dispenser. Turns out the one we got (shown here) doesn’t work with our system- another one’s on it’s way. The new one looks completely different, is a little smaller and we ordered it in matte black instead of chrome to fade away into the dark counter instead of calling attention to it. The other intent is to complement the black accents on the main faucet.
