Rob poses with our handiwork… Newly sistered joists (new wood bolted to the old), new lintels over the door and window (the window with the plywood was hidden behind drywall in the ‘before’ pic), new partial plumbing stack (the black pipe behind ladder) new electrical wires (not final location!) and of course you can see the living room beyond and the bathroom above. The structual ‘modification’ shall I say, is not something we could have attempted ourselves without my dads help (and reclaimed beams!) Thanks dad!
